Our community classroom series offers a combination of education, community organizing, and activism.
These are not lectures. Each speaker expects to engage in discussion and active dialogue. We encourage networking, creative thinking, collaboration, and future action.
You are also encouraged to organize an event to be held at The Progressive Center on a topic of interest to you, join a task force on a particular issue, and help mentor our young leaders. The price to reserve our space for forums, parties, and private organization meetings is negotiable, but starts at $50.00. Free parking and wi-fi is included. Our space is available most days and evenings except for Friday & Saturday evenings.
We encourage you to ride DART Bus and Rail to our events: either the Red or Blue line to the Cedars Station, which is just down the street from South Side on Lamar.
ADA assistance is available for Progressive Center events by contacting us. We will make any arrangements needed. For this or any other questions or comments, please call us at 214-485-2720 or write to us at email@example.com
