Molly Hanchey (Executive Director, President, Director)
Molly Hanchey came out of retirement as a business development consultant to organize  a grassroots group known as ObamaDallas.  She founded The Progressive Center as a means to increase citizens’ civic participation in facilitating change needed in our city and state, joining the ranks of those who have worked for decades to improve quality of life. As a Director of The Progressive Center her focus is to impact issues of social, environmental, and economic justice through education, activism, and collaboration.

Tracy Clinton (Deputy Executive Director)
Prior to co-founding the Progressive Center, Tracy Clinton worked as a Deputy Field Director at ObamaDallas. He was the out-of-state volunteer coordinator, as well as chief of staff during the general election period. He currently operates as the chief of staff for The Progressive Center, head of event development, communication, and is known to take out the trash on occasion.

Marvette Washington (Treasurer)
Marvette Washington is a Senior Financial Analyst at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She worked as Head Volunteer Coordinator for ObamaDallas.

Claudia Fowler (Director)
Claudia is a Dallas native, and graduate of Bishop College with a degree in Accounting and minor in Business and English. She began her activism career at 17, running a phone banks in the seventies. She is presently the Executive Director/CEO of the Joppa South Central Coalition for Neighborhood Redevelopment, Inc. and a Case Manager at Urban League of Greater Dallas. She co-founded ObamaDallas with Molly Hanchey and Joe Rowe in 2007.

Clay Jenkins (Director)
Clay Jenkins was the Voter Protection Coordinator for the Obama campaign in Texas, based in Dallas. He is the President of Jenkins & Jenkins, a successful law practice with offices in Dallas and Waxahachie. He is also the co-founder of Brown Dental Health Services.

Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson (Director)
Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson is serving her ninth term representing the 30th Congressional District of Texas. She is a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Senior Democratic Deputy Whip, and Chair of the Texas Democratic Delegation. Congresswoman Johnson has earned the reputation of being a stateswoman on U. S. foreign policy and has worked to improve human rights around the globe. Her acclaimed initiative “Women for World Peace” has been nationally and internationally recognized.

Rod Givens (Director)
Rod Givens has served as Congresswoman Johnson's District Director in Dallas since 2006. He graduated from the University of Houston in 1980 with BBA in Accounting and from University of Texas at Arlington in 1986 with a MBA in Real Estate and Finance. Rod has worked extensively as a forensic consultant. As District Director, Rod oversees the daily operations of the district office, and represents Congresswoman Johnson in-district.
